Varicocele: Costs varies from hospital to hospital and from doctor to doctor. It is an effective way to treat varicocele but I do not believe there any studies comparing results and outcomes.

Yes: Varicocele is the result of venous reflux in the veins draining the spermatic cord. Evidence suggests that embolization is as effective as surgical ligation (tying them off).
