I play video games on my pc for multiple hours daily. sometimes my fingers feel stiff after long play sessions. this stiffness only comes from the keyboard, not the mouse or controller. is this an early sign of carpal tunnel?

Perhaps, as prolonged keyboarding may result in an inflammatory synovitis in the wrists causing secondary carpal tunnel syndrome in susceptible individuals. Not clear whether your symptoms indicate future nerve problems. A hand specialist is a good referral to start.
