Pressure on eyes: When you vomit, the blood pressure in your head temporarily rises and this puts more pressure on your eyes. The nerves in the back of the eyes respond to any pressure (such as touch) by a stimulus that your brain interprets as light. You can see the same thing if you gently rub your eye with your finger. It is normal and does not indicate a problem.
