Could make it worse: I would not go in a sauna since all that water could just try out your skin and make the skin much worse.

Won't make it worse: Unless your hand problem is from too much contact with water , it should not hurt and may even help provided you are in a steam sauna and not a dry one and you do apply a good moisturizer on your hands immediately after the sauna session is over.
