how is calcium citrate diferent from standard calcium supplement?that's having magnesium &zinc added. which type of calcium i shd take, i can't ve dairy

Citrate preferred: Calcium citrate can be easily absorbed and dissolved when compared to calcium bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate). Magnesium is often added because it may provide further benefit and because it tends to counter the constipating effect of calcium.
