Need more info: Treating anxiety/depression rarely gives instantaneous relief with any psychotropic medication. On the other hand I feel it would be prudent to talk things over with your physician to maybe change the drug and/or refer you to a psychiatrist.

Further assessment: Please see your doctor for follow up. Need more clarity about reason for depression/ anxiety. Its important to combine psychotherapy with pharmacotherapy for better outcome in depression/ anxiety. Eat healthy food. Avoid caffeine. Go for walk daily. Practice mindfulness techniques with or without meditation. Talk with supportive people. Best wishes.
