Hypertropia: Hypertropia is when one eye is pointed higher than the other. The eye is not higher in the orbit or the orbit higher on the face. This is facial asymmetry, and is common and does not require treatment. People who have acquired hypertropia typically have double vision in which the two images are above and below.
