I was diagnosed with a fractured thyroid cartlidge and a fractured hyroid in my throat back oct. how long does it take to heal and what about surgery?

Thyroid cartilage fx: If you have not been operated on by now, it probably would not work this far out. I presume an ear nose and throat doctor scoped you and determined that there were no laryngeal injuries. If so, there would have been an offer for surgery. If the fracture of the cartilage is non displaced, you do not have to fix it. Hyoid bone fractures are not repaired unless there is crepitus (sounds) with swallow.
