Depends: This depends on several things: how experienced was the physician who made the diagnosis & treatmrpent plan, your husband's age & health status, the type of fracture ( classified type 1, 2 or3-which all have different prognosis's) & whether the fracture was non displaced or displaced and by how much it was angulated if at all. You should get an opinion from an orthopedic surgeon or neurosurgeon.
