Will a 14 year old's growth be stunted if he pulls one all nighter?

One night w/o sleep: Will not affect growth or much of anything else except feeling tired.

Unlikely to happen: A single event will have little long term effect, but a long term pattern will. Performance after an all nighter is usually met with short term memory lapses and mistakes, but no effect on growth.

Up All Night: One all-nighter will probably not affect your total growth; however, your body does secrete growth hormone when you are sleeping, so, pulling too many might not be a good idea. To maximize your bone health, make sure you are getting at least 2000-5000 units a day of vitamin d3. It works like mortar to the calcium that you take in (calcium citrate is best) which is like the bricks! 1 tab daily!

No: Growth is determined by nutrition, genetics, health and hormones. It is a process that takes place over many years. One night will not affect it.

No: All nighters will not stunt your growth. Don't make a habit of it though, it's not good for you. Chronic sleep deprivation may affect you adversely.
