A member asked:

My son is 2 year old he is watching tv from one year. now i heard itsnot advisable is it so. what steps can i take now for his better growth.

Limit TV: The aap recommends no screen time for children until 2 years old. Even after 2 years old screen time (including computers) should generally be limited (1-2 hrs). Programming designed to attract the attention of young children has frequent scene changes and can increase attention deficits. Some programs (like mr. Rogers neighborhood) don't cause as many problems. Playing with your child is best!
