NO: There is no reason to prescribe antibiotics in this case unless the patient has fever due to the infection or has a medical condition that requires antibiotic therapy

No need: Ther is no need for antibiotic treatment after taking a baby tooth out in most normal conditions. Unless there is massive infection associated with that tooth , it's not necessary ..

Ext's ; Antibiotics: Generally when there is an existing infection, a compromised immune system, or some other specific medical problems would an antibiotic normally be recommended. Children have great immune systems and healing powers and seldom need antibiotics for almost all baby tooth extractions. Your child's dentist would be the best one to decide whether or not it's necessary.
