That depends: First, it would help to know the cause of your back pain. If its mostly muscular and related to a strain then essentially your muscles are telling you they need to rest. So, rest them. Otherwise they will continue to bother you and won't be able to recover. If you back pain feels a lot worse after the work out. You aren't ready for that intensity yet. Hope that helps!
