Use intermittent ice: Intermittent ice to the area should help with the muscle spasms. DO NOT do the exercises for at least two weeks, or you will certainly reinjure the area. After two days, alternate intermittent ice and moist heat to the area 3- times per day 15 min each time. If worsening or no improvement, see your Dr.
