A, B, and C: A: fecal-oral transmission (contaminated food, sex, children with dirty fingers), causes acute hepatitis, preventable by vaccine. B: transmission by sex, blood contact (sharing needles, needle sticks). Causes acute and chronic hepatitis, preventable by vaccine. C: transmission by blood contact (sharing needles, needle sticks), sometimes sex. Mostly chronic hepatitis. No vaccine, but curable.
