Itching: … Is a fairly common symptom of hepatitis. It is usually caused due to a buildup of bilirubin and is often seen associated with jaundice or yellowing of the skin. When it is present, it is usually widespread over most of the body. It is usually seen in end stage liver disease or in very acute hepatitis. This can be sorted out with a simple blood test.
