A member asked:

Could you explain what is orthopedic surgery and does it hurt?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Every surgery hurts!: Orthopedic is the branch of medical sciences dealing with bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves, broken bones, pulled mucsles, torn tendons/ligaments, arthritis surgery. The good thing about surgery is that pain it causes does get better and every week you would feel the improvement in it.
