My orthopedic dr gave me norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) 10/325 knee pain after surgery. it saids1 to 2 tabs every 6 hrs. i took 1 & it been 3 hr my knee hurts. can i take one?

Yes: 10/325 refers to 10mg of hydrocodone (powerful & addicting narcotic) while 325mg refers to acetaminophen (brand = Tylenol). Maximum daily dose of acetaminophen is 3-4,000mg (spread throughout day) depending upon alcohol intake & health of your liver. Excess acetaminophen is dangerous to your liver. So take medication as directed but only if needed.
