Shedding baby teeth: Children shed baby teeth differently from one another. It is not uncommon for the adult teeth to erupt behind the baby teeth. The baby teeth will eventually come out as the tongue pushes the adult teeth forward. If there is pus or infection have you dentist check it out.

Over-retained?: Sometimes the permanent teeth start to erupt while the baby (primary) teeth are still in place. This may or may not be an issue of concern. While the baby teeth often eventually fall out and the permanent teeth erupt into their proper place, sometimes it's better to remove the baby tooth. I would have a pedodontist and orthodontist evaluate and monitor the situation.
