Do Pregnancy Test: A missed period must raise the possibility of pregnancy. How long ago was the ultrasound? If you are sexually active i would suggest you get a pregnancy test done on you, at least a home pregnancy test. If positive, you should be checked out asap with a transvaginal sono to confirm the pregnancy is in the uterus.

Hello! I had a pelvic ultrasound (non transvaginal) and it showed a cyst on my right ovary of 4 cm. Are pelvic ultrasounds sufficient enough to show ovarian cysts without transvaginal? I turned the vaginal one. Doc wants to monitor cyst?
