Probably not unless: You almost certainly have a viral illness. Antibiotics won't help; most docs have nothing to offer except over-the-counter symptom relief. If your throat pain was severe ; you had a fever it could be strep throat, in which case antibiotics might have helped, but by now they wouldn't help much.
