I've an almost constant urge to pass stools. usually a very small amount loose or soft stools, or nothing at all is passed. i also get terrible pain in my upper abdomen after eating anything. ibs?

Check with your doc: This doesn't sound typical for ibs - usually that's a pain that improves after a bowel movement as well as periodic constipation or diarrhea. It would be worth seeing your doctor as this could be an inflammatory bowel disease like crohn's or ulcerative colitis.

IBS: The constant urge school sounds like ibs. The pain in your upper abdomen could be ibs, but i would also wonder if it represents something along the of gastritis or an ulcer. Other possibilities are ulcerative colitis or crohn's disease but you are not passing any blood or mucus so i doubt that the latter two are the case. Please get checked for upper abdominal symptomatology as well. Best wishes.
