Confusing question: No kid under 4'9" should travel in a car unless properly restrained in a passenger safety system. After that point, usually 12 yo, the adult belting system will fit properly and provide a reasonable degree of safety.A one month old does not have the muscle control or stability to sit anywhere unrestrained. Your question is hard to decipher.
