Chronic pain: It is not clear what type of fracture you had and what was the treatment. Usually curvature of the spine is not that big a problem. The chronic pain however can ensue and last indefinitely after the fracture is healed. A good spine specialist and pain management specialist should be able to manage your pain.

Such injuries are --: Fixed with screws ; rods to correct the effects of the injury and to prevent any delayed loss of alignment. So the chances of it causing any curvature issues would be very very slim. Check with your surgeon about your concerns as he would have all the answers for you. Anyone else will need a detailed examinatanion + xrays, mri's before they can provide you any advice. Good luck ; happy holidays.
