No fracture doesn't=: ..No injury. Many of the most significant injuries of the ankle involve the ligaments, ; if the md ; radiologist say no fracture, that's not a no injury diagnosis. Ur treater should b an orthopedist ; he/she should have a high index of suspension based on the mechanism of injury as well as an ankle exam . Further imaging as well as stress films r of great help . Late DX may= reconstruction.
