Wisdom tooth.: You did not say if you have pain. This may be normal tooth erupting. If you have pain then take 600 mg ibuprophen if you can tolerate this medication, use ice packs if you have swelling. See your dentist asap. Remember most dentist take emergency calls so call if you are concerned.

No worry: Many times, wisdom teeth don't have room to grow properly and cause problems. The symptoms include pain, redness, tenderness and/or swelling. If you don't have these symptoms no infection is present. However, the decision to remove wisdom teeth isn't always clear. See your dentist for x-ray and evaluation.
