Drug reaction : The greatest concern is to make sure that the anti TB treatment is not affecting your hearing. Streptomycin used to be the biggest culprit and is not used in usa now. Even mild loss of hearing can cause tinnitus. The second concern is that this may be auditory hallucinations, again due to side effects of the medications. Please discuss with an ENT specialist and also your TB doctor.

For about 4 days now, when i go to bed, I hear a distinct clicking sound in my right ear. I have to turn my head or sleep on my right side to not hear it. At times it even wakes me up. The clock is like I'm sleeping next to a watch.
