Ask your doctor: Clopidogrel is a blood thinner not a cholesterol medication. So it depends on why you are on the clopidogrel as to if you still need to take it. Your doctor knows your medical history and can give you the best answer.

Why need Clopidogrel: Not sure exactly why you need clopidogrel--had heart attack? Significant coronary artery disease? Or both? Can't take aspirin? I am glad to hear that your cholesterol is good, but clopidogrel is not for cholesterol--it is to prevent blood clotting in the vessel and thus can reduce chance of heart attack. Please consult doc for continuing need of use. Good luck.
