Depends on many...: Things: the technique used, the anatomy of the patient, etc. As a general rule, i tell my patients that they should be able to return to normal activities 10-14 days after a facelift. At that point, there may be some residual swelling and bruising, but it can be camouflaged with makeup. Some may take longer, but this seems to be accurate for most patients.

2-3 weeks: You should be presentable, with make-up in 7-10 days, without make-up in 2-3 weeks and really look great in 6 weeks, as the swelling resolves.

Depends: Depending on the extent of your procedure most take 1-2 weeks off work. Your swelling gradually dissipates over months, and bruising is variable, but can be masked with makeup on returning to work. Yet, i believe you look great at 3 weeks, but even better at 6 months after surgery.

2-3 weeks: Following surgery, the greatest swelling is usually noted within 24 to 48 hours, though moderate swelling may last for weeks. Bruising typically diminishes within 2 weeks. Most sutures are removed 5-7 days after surgery. Patients are typically able to return to work in 2 weeks and resume exercise and other strenuous activities in about 6 weeks.

Facellift recovery: Facelifts alone heal quite quickly. It is more the associated procedures such as eyelid lift (blepahorplasty), fat injections, laser peels, etc that may prolong recovery or make it more obvious. Most sutures are removed by 7-10 days. Activity may be limited for 3 weeks. Facelifts vary tremendously in extent so get answers from your surgeon to help ease your mind. ... But Facelift at 35, really?

Recovery after facel: Recovery is very individual. I recommend setting yourself up for success. Stop any aspirin, advil, (ibuprofen) fish oil, etc for two weeks prior to the procedure. Watch your salt 3 days before and after. Iced compresses for 48 hours after and then lymphatic drainage treatments to help mobilize swelling. Depending on the combination of procedures 1-2 weeks generally.
