Osteomyelitis: Osteomyelitis can be resilient and shouldn't be taken lightly. See an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Your treatment may include removal of the sequestrum, surgical deridement, and/or antibiotics. Early containment of the bony infection is desirable.
