Hard to say: It is very nasty and invasive. Treatment requires stopping the osteoporosis med, often surgery to remove the necrosed bone and enhance new bone growth and sometimes in severe cases bone grafts. Overall the incidence of avn is not that great, you are just very unlucky. I wish you all the best

Onj : You need to have a thorough evaluation with xrays and exam and pictures, by a local periodontist asap. I see many of these cases recently.. And it is very unfortunate.
