A member asked:

Can you tell me if someone gets sick when they get old, can they seize all of their assets if they need palliative care?

No: Palliative care is part of any serious illness. It doesn't have to be a life-ending illness. And it is covered by medicare as well as health insurance. Palliative care is not expensive, and no one will seize anyone's property or assets to provide palliative care. That would be the exact opposite of palliative care! it's about providing emotional, physical and spiritual support for symptoms.
