So, even though most of the brain was not included, the important areas were. However, the brain is relatively resistant to radiation. It is less likely to be injured by the low dose used in ct scanning. It is good to check your facility for the dose estimate.

It depends: It depends on the scan parameters. Usually not much, and since the scan is not optimized for the brain, what is visualized is usually limited.
