Enlarged prostate: People with an enlarge prostate (BPH) have increasing difficulty with urination. At some point, they will not be able to urinate and will need to go the er and have a catheter placed in their bladder to excrete urine. It is better to see a urologist (c) and see if medication can be given to slow down the enlargement of the prostate. If the prostate is enlarged, a u can rule out a prostatic cancer.
