Intuniv: Intuniv is a long-acting form of guanfacine, which is usually used to control high blood pressure. It can help kids with adhd who have tics, sleep problems, and/or aggression. It's not a stimulant, therefore not a controlled substance like many other adhd medications are. It can be added when stimulants aren't working effectively, or by itself depending on symptoms and physician's evaluation.
