Side-effects : Side-effects can be very common with many medications. It would be very important to know how much Intuniv your child was on and when it was discontinued. If it was a very low dose, you may have nothing to be concerned over. Unfortunately, stopping a medication abruptly without a doctor's knowledge, can lead to medication rebound effects and you should only do so under a doctor's care.

Off the Intuniv: Since you already stopped the intuniv, the only thing to watchout for is return of the original symptoms for which the Intuniv was originally prescribed. Usually, it is preferable to taper the Intuniv to avoid any blood pressure issues. You shold monitor any recurrent adhd or oppositional symptoms.
