Yes: I always tell my patients if they smoke more than i do, then it is bad for them. I don't smoke. The effect of one cigarette can linger and depending on you genes they can also be induced as for cancer, perhaps COPD but also for heart and blood vessel problems, etc.. It is always best not to smoke at all.
