Location?: Depends on the location and symptoms, if asymptomatic than there is no need to treat it. If on the dorsum of the wrist aspiration may be successful, on the volar aspect surgical excision would be indicated. If on the finger its known as a mucus cyst and if symptomatic than excision is indicated.
