Ganglion. On the : Palm can be large or small , painful or just mechanically irritating. Don't confuse a ganglion with a dupiytrms nodule.

Contact Hand surgeon: Palmar aspect lumps are usually smaller than the dorsal hand/wrist ganglions. They feel firm and arise from tendon sheaths. Sometimes flexor tenosynovitis may create swelling and is associated with pain and limitation of movement. Contact a hand surgeon for an evaluation.
