A member asked:

I have an external hemorrhoid. it kind of stings when i touch and apply cream but doesn't hurt that much, even during bowel movement. but it keeps bleeding slightly ever since it appeared. how do i fix the bleeding and make it go away asap?

You can use external hemorrhoid ointment/ cream a couple of times a day. I would also consider changing your diet TO SOFTEN your stools. More fiber, less meat

Or clotted, bed rest for 24-48 hours with feet above hips, warm tub soaks for 15 -20 minutes 3-4 times per day and sometimes ice pack for 5 minutes at a time will usually work. If thrombosed and hard to the touch might consider incision and drainage by colorectal surgeon in the office to shorten the time of discomfort and pop swelling and bleeding.
