Sedation meds: During the extraction of wisdom teeth there can be several different combinations of medications used for intravenous sedation and local anesthesia. Most commonly, Lidocaine is the local anethesia of choice. Sedation medications can include but are not limited to midazolam, fentanyl, Propofol and decadron (dexamethasone).

Combination: During the surgery, sedatives and local anesthetics. After the surgery, pain killers, anti-inflammatory and antibiotics (if needed). Good luck.
