Arthritis: Has she had xrays? Depending on her age it is most likley osteoarthritis. The standard treatment is to begin with nsaids, pt, consider a cortisone injection, then if all else fails, total knee replacement. Weight bearing, 4 view xrays of her knee is the first step.
