Hypnotherapy: Is one tool that can be very useful. I also use a technique called "voice dialogue." what may be happening is that a part of you wants to perform (i'm assuming here a musical performance? Acting?) in a way that won't embarrass you in front of an audience. That part gets very anxious when you perform, very fearful. Voice dialogue allows you to separate from that part when you need to.
