For what length of time should i wait to eat after coming from the dentist?

It depends : Post dentist visit eating and drinking depends on the procedure performed . But generally speaking avoid anything hot and avoid eating till the anesthesia wore off and get the sensation back to avoid biting your cheek or your tongue. Usually it takes like an hour or so.In case of extraction avoid eating hard food or anything that disturbs the clot formation to avoid dry socket
