Contact lenses: Are a great way to correct your vision and are well tolerated most of the time. They can cause problems in some people, especially if they are sensitive to the contact lens material or if they don't take proper care of their lenses (i.e. Regular cleaning and disposal).

Can you tell me if contact lenses have any dangers on the eyes?

Overuse and abuse: Contact lenses, properly fit, can be harmless and helpful. But instructions must be followed on wear schedule, replacement schedule, and cleaning schedule. If these are violated, then the chance for infection and irritation are increased. If the eye gets red always remove the lens and also if the vision drops or the eye feels bad.

No damage: Contact lenses, if used properly and under the care of an experienced eye doctor, will rarely cause problems that can lead to damage. Improper use can and does cause damage.
