Plus lens therapy: Plus lens therapy should not cause any problems and may be of some benefit for your myopic progression.

Does not damage eye: Using plus lens therapy will not cause physical damage to the eye such as cataract. It could cause alignment problems at near, because normally the focusing of the eye at near is tied in with the in-turning of the eyes needed for viewing a close object. Plus lenses eliminate the need to focus, so the eyes might not turn-in adequately, and thus may cause eye strain symptoms or double vision.
