I would expect your ophthalmologist to answer these very important questions for you. Apparently you underwent LPI in both eyes to prevent glaucoma and,thus, may not require eye drops to lower your intraocular pressures.

A laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI) can help prevent acute angle closure glaucoma, but it is not expected to reduce your need for drops. Incipient cataract can be monitored for progression, but it is not an indication for cataract surgery. Neither narrow angles or early cataract should interfere with your contact lens wearing.
