Hopeless: Tooth is a concern. If they are wisdom teeth that are just accumulating food materials and no opposing, it is a concern. Both examples will just cause breath problems besides infection. Tooth loss that will impair chewing capacity and affect smile is a concern, but can be replaced by implants or dentures.

Ask your doctor: Not knowing your medical and dental history it is very difficult to say. If they are broken under the gums and had old root canal treatment then they may be difficult to get out, on the other hand if they are loose it may not be a problem. Please talk to your dentist before the procedure. Either way you should be fine, dr mokbel, www.Scdentalimplants.Com.

Not if: Not if you are seeing a qualified and competent dentist. For difficult extractions or if you want to be sedated for the procedure see an oral surgeon. Checking for referrals and recommendations would help allay your fears.
