Slow steady loss: Is best if you wish for loss to be sustained. Discuss with your parents and pediatrician first. A goal of 12 pounds over that time frame may be more attainable and sustainable but 24 pound weight loss may be possible.Eat healthfully ; be physically active. Aim for 7.5 to 8 hrs of sleep / night. Hydrate w at least 64 oz of water / day. Calories burned must > calories consumed.
