need doctor's help! i might have adhd but my mom won't take me to get tested?

ADHD Diagnosis...: Most psychologists can diagnose adhd in adults without doing psychological testing. Find a therapist who specializes in adhd ; get an evaluation. There are also self report scales who adult adhd self report scales. Once you have a clear diagnosis speak with your mother. At 39 years of age, you can take care of yourself and manage the add on your own, regardless of what your mother thinks.
